About Anna

Anna was first introduced to the Pilates Method whilst living in Australia in 1999. She was suffering ongoing back problems in part due to exercising without proper muscle balance or body awareness and working hunched over a desk. Pilates classes helped reduced her discomfort. She has always enjoyed a wide range of sports and recognised that being cardio fit is not enough to maintain a healthy body. It was not long before she wanted to teach and share the method. She completed her Pilates matwork training under the tuition of Susanne Lahusen, Hana Jones and Sonia Noonan at The Place in London in 2004. She went on to do her equipment training at the Pilates and Yoga Movement studio, London with Anne-Marie Zulkahari. Before moving to Bristol in 2007 Anna worked at Derby Cottage Clinic in Cambridgeshire working with osteopaths and other specialist practitioners.

Anna is a certified Pilates Foundation instructor and is committed to maintaining the highest standard of teaching whilst also providing a personalised approach to her clients and their physical needs. Her teaching aims to increase body awareness, well-being and movement patterns with an emphasis on breath and alignment. She keeps her skills up to date by regularly attending workshops for professionals.
